How do I book a cabin at Emigrant Cabins?

Accepted Answer

All reservations are made online through our booking engine, where booking directly gives you the lowest available rate without the service fees added by third-party platforms. Cabins are also listed on Airbnb and VRBO for guests who prefer those platforms. Full payment is due at the time of booking, and online booking is the only reservation method available.

What is the check-in process?

Check-in is fully self-service using a digital keycode sent on the day of arrival through the booking platform or by email. There is no staff on-site, but management is available by phone or message for any questions or emergencies. Check-in begins at 4 PM and checkout is at 11 AM, and early check-in or late checkout cannot be accommodated.

What is the cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

When booking directly through our website, cancellations made 60 or more days before arrival receive a 95% refund, and cancellations between 30 and 60 days before arrival receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 29 days of arrival are refunded the cleaning fee only. All cancellations must be processed through the platform where the reservation was originally made, and the policy is firm with no exceptions. All refunds less 5% credit card service fee.

Is there a damage deposit?

Yes, a $250 damage deposit is pre-authorized as a hold on your payment method the day before check-in. The hold is not charged unless damage is found, and it is released after checkout if the cabin is left in good condition.
